Since I'm chronicling reactions to Steven Universe and now Star Wars Rebels, may as well do it for Phineas and Ferb's spiritual successor.

  • Going the Extra Milo: So as soon as the episode starts, we immediately get a sense of what's going on. Zack Underwood is new and doesn't know that Milo Murphy is infamous for causing bad things to happen around him, while Melissa Chase is Milo's best friend who's familiar with said infamy and believes in him to get through it. We soon see Zack and Milo having to force themselves to survive after they're chased by a drainage pipe, which of course terrifies Zack. While classmate Bradley Nicholson thinks they won't make it to school on time, Melissa believes they will. While Melissa arranges a bet with her classmates, Milo and Zack just miss the bus. We already have a few funny lines too, like "what doesn't kill ya only makes you late for school!" Milo and Zack then run into more calamity (including Coyote Woods, which is named after Peter Coyote but is a wolf reserve), including some double subversion gags through that. Eventually Zack confronts Milo about how he's able to live the way he does, while Milo basically says to Zack that he finds it amazing how everyone else can live such mundane and by comparison boring lives. I couldn't help but think of neurodiversity and other experiences of being disabled when he explained Extreme Hereditary Murphy's Law Condition, because how constant danger is basically normal to his life is similar to how things people find weird or what they perceive as unbearable about people such as myself are actually normal to us. After more chaos they eventually make it to school, even if they have to run into aliens and get teleported to their classroom first. They lost their lunches, but since Melissa won the bet she managed to cover them. So pretty good start to the series, it really establishes who the characters are and "Weird Al" Yankovic is great as Milo, he really adds a lot of character to him. Zack is also pretty likeable and is basically our audience surrogate, Melissa is cool and basically knows what's up, and Diogee is memorable comic relief as well as a way to help Milo and friends out of situations. Really look forward to seeing where they go through here.
  • The Undergrounders: A pistachio cart, when I hear Dan and Swampy are voicing characters called the Pistachio Protectors, hmm... Milo is talking with Zack and Melissa about going to the Museum, however as he ends up going through the gate to the station and gets stuck Bradley chides him about how he always ends up being the centre of attention due to his bad luck, even calling his antics "The Milo Show." I liked how Milo doesn't notice how he's not being literal, though as much as I enjoyed it a part of me hopes we get to see more to differentiate Milo from Phineas, because at this point in the series they are pretty similar in terms of characterisation. Milo manages to get on the train on time, but the carriage him, Zack and Melissa are in comes loose and becomes separated from everyone else. Bradley tries to show off his knowledge on the train, even talking about how Pluto was removed from the planetarium, even if Mort Schaeffer turns out to be a Pluto is a planet type (grr). Of course, the other students notice, and Bradley again is deprived of the attention he seeks. As the carriage ends up far away from the class (with Milo buckling himself to a pole lol), we find out Zack gets anxious in enclosed spaces, though Milo and Melissa put up some distractions (and in typical Weird Al fashion, Milo plays the accordion). After some character establishing dialogue like Milo's optimism and Melissa's liking for adventure, we meet the Undergrounders, who are a bunch of rail workers who ended up being stuck underground and had to build their own civilisation to survive. Meanwhile at the Museum, Bradley is actually enjoying himself, and Mort takes a lot of Rose Quartz. Insert Steven Universe joke here (composer Surasshu actually watched these episodes and joked about it too). Milo and co. make it back to class (though Bradley seemed to be tricking the teacher into thinking there were no missing students), and all is fine. Well, except for Bradley. Not as good as the first episode, but I did still enjoy it quite a bit. The highlight of the episode was definitely Bradley, Vincent Martella just voices him so well and even if he's kind of selfish he is still quite sympathetic. I'm actually really curious to see where they take his character, I would love to see more interaction with Milo and why he desires attention so badly as it keeps being drawn away from him through Milo. Some other fun stuff in this too, and everyone else is still good in their roles.
  • Sunny Side Up: So we begin the episode with Milo talking about something about an orang-utan and... pistachios. You want us to suspect something, don't you? We then meet Milo's teacher Mrs Murawski... who seems to be attracted to her desk. She's into wood, I gue- oh my, that sounded so wrong. We also notice Melissa taking down notes, indicating she's very studious (which she later confirms, even mentioning how her self-esteem is tied to her grades). When they break into groups, everyone hides so they don't go with Milo besides his friends, and Bradley even tries to convince Melissa to join his group knowing how she has straight As. Also, when he names the group team Melissa (while insisting it's not after team Melissa), Mort and Amanda Lopez give him a weird look... does he have a crush on Melissa? :P After they bring some eggs (also wow, Melissa sure speaks her mind, huh?) - with some breaking of course - we get our first song of the series, which is played along a montage of the kids testing out eggs falling in various devices and making sure they don't break (which is their assignment). Also after the song, does Melissa saying they have to crack this thing (not the egg?) count as an egg pun? :V Anyway, they end up making a device that seems to work (after over 17 hours and thousands of eggs), and they go home. We also meet Milo's dad, who also seems to have lots of bad luck. We also get a run of "it's just a dream jokes," Zack and Melissa have ones of the things they're looking after being ruined, while Milo's dream is... his room being perfectly normal and not having anything damaged, which is the case when he wakes up. Anyway, after Mrs Murawski being weird about a pencil Melissa is using (I guess she DOES like wood), we then get to the egg experiments. We get some funny moments here, like Murawski mentioning weight distribution and telling students to think of her desk (and she says she is), and also Bradley gloating about being the only person so far not to shatter his egg (even if his in your face ends up reaching Mort, who's not exactly pleased :P ). So Milo's egg is dropped, except it turns out a delivery truck arrives, sending it flying around Jefferson County (including some wind turbines flinging it around, which is pretty funny to me as an Australian). Even after destroying the delivery truck, the egg manages to still survive everything, meaning Milo's team gets an A (also I'm surprised we didn't see Bradley react to this). So yeah, besides a few nitpicky things, this episode was good, and definitely has the funniest part of the series so far. Also gave us some more insight into Melissa as a character, so that's cool too.
  • Rooting for the Enemy: So Zack is now on the American football team called the Geckos, and we already get shenanigans with a weird Gecko mascot and Bradley trying to sit with Melissa... except he backs off when he sees Milo. It seems this team has a knack for failing as well, and Milo decides to come to this game because of that (apparently him and Melissa hang out when games are on, so that's cool). Melissa suggests they could check out an abandoned pistachio (BECAUSE OF COURSE IT'S PISTACHIOS) warehouse instead, but Milo decides to go in the end. Naturally, the team performs especially badly (which pisses off Bradley of course, since football is apparently a "Milo free zone"), but when Melissa jokingly suggests they could root for the opposing team and Milo does so, it actually ends up causing the other team bad luck. It actually ends up working... and it's done through a pretty cool song sung by Milo. The Geckos win, but Milo ends up in hospital because he breaks a thumb. As a gesture for Milo's unorthodox method of helping them win the game, Zack gives Milo the game's ball. Oh, and apparently Milo has his own room for the hospital, lol. So yeah another good episode. Highlights of the episode was definitely the song and Bradley's overreaction to Milo at the beginning, but it was quite funny in general. Also really got a sense of Milo and Melissa being pretty good friends from this episode, if Going the Extra Milo sold me on Milo and Zack's friendship being great then this episode sold me on Milo and Melissa's friendship.
  • The Doctor Zone Files: So we begin with an episode of the the show that is the name of the episode. Theme song is pretty good, though I'm surprised Jemaine Clement didn't actually sing it actually. We also get an idea of what the show is usually like, and yeah it's definitely got Doctor Who references in there, namely with how the trash can droids are clunky and cheap while being a recurring nemesis (oh hello Daleks), and cheap effects like how the time beehicle was hanging on a string. We then see Milo and his sister Sara are huge fans of the show, and are taking Zack and Melissa (who don't really know the show) through a marathon to prepare for a Dr Zone movie, which I believe is a 50th anniversary thing. It turns out there has been many versions of the show, and that Zack and Melissa only marathoned the newest incarnation, which is the titular show. One thing I should point out is that for a 50 year characters, Dr Zone looks awfully the same through each one. I have had a theory that his actor might actually be a real time traveler, but I guess we have to wait and see. We're also warned Dr Zone fans can be elitist, which is baited and switched with upper class Brits, only to then see the actual giant Dr Zone line. We also see that Sara is definitely aware things could go wrong, and as a result she seems very prepared, arguably overly so. Diogee shows up, but Milo gives him a ticket for "The Dog Door Bone Files." Wonder if this is a spinoff with a K-9 type character? :P We then meet characters played by Mitchel Musso and Alyson Stoner, Wally and Kris, who are basically the kinds of "elitist" fans Sara warned about. They also explain Time Ape's backstory to Zack and Melissa who are in line (while looking down on them), and he is apparently a "trans-chronological being" who takes the form of an ape with a clock for its head (which Zack finds weird) because his real form is something we cannot comprehend and would make our heads explode. We also see the Pistachio Protectors for the first time (and apparently pistachios are Dr Zone's favourite nut... HMMM), who after having their stand fly off from a Murphy's Law accident mysteriously disappear. Weird. We also learn more about Time Ape, who turned into his form after Dr Zone was the only baby who could be saved from his imploding planet, and the implosion somehow caused his brother to turn into the trans-chronological being. Melissa and Zack come to the conclusion that obviously Time Ape and Dr Zone are brothers, but Wally and Kris find it absurd (I guess they fall into the "too obvious" camp). Sara then gets up and does a speech as a result about how it doesn't matter what kind of fan you are, it's just what it means to you that's important. However, as she did that, she lost her tickets. However, the pistachio cart comes back down and gives them a spot, where they see the brothers theory come true.
So interesting episode, of course there was a message about fandom in it (I sure hope the MML fandom doesn't become Wally and Kris :V) but there was lots of other interesting stuff too. Dr Zone is a bizarre show for sure, and some interesting gags came out of that. There was also a lot of theory fodder from this episode due to some peculiarities, and also I'm curious to see more of Sara's relationship with Milo. She seems to worry a lot, and I do wonder even if their relationship seems pretty positive I wonder if she might go to pretty far lengths to protect him.
  • The Note: Milo has to hand in a stack of absences from school to get signed by his doctor, but naturally things go wrong when the signature page ends up going away (and he says he might have to repeat 7th grade, yeesh). We also meet Elliot Decker, a crossing guard who wants to stop Milo from causing any trouble, though he's easily mocked by Zack and Melissa. It ends up caught among cyclists, and then gets caught on a drone (the agents controlling it apparently mentioned a "Murphy Sector" too, huh), and then gets stuck in an office (which we see Diogee in). It's then in a parade, and Diogee (well, Zack before him, but Milo misinterpreted his poor choice of words) then sees the note on an astronaut on one of the cars. Milo thumps the car, which gives the astronaut a weird flashback, and then the note ends in a garbage place. After a song and some mishaps like Melissa's laces somehow getting stuck while being dragged along a conveyor belt, they finally get the note... and it's for someone named Lola Sunderguard, a female Milo lookalike. She thanks Milo for getting her doctor's note, and not-Melissa does a BAM instead of Melissa's BOOM. They then leave (and apparently Lola has a pig), but Diogee gets Milo his note back. They then go back to school, and when Elliot tries to stop them the disintegration ray from earlier hits him only to reintegrate him after they cross. Also the episode has this running gag with Milo's doctor golfing with a friend, and the dialogue seems to imply that they aren't just friends. So yeah interesting episode, did think Zack felt a little sidelined and I don't know if they're gonna go anywhere with Melissa's snappy/tough attitude and BOOM (kind of a forced catch phrase if you ask me, though at least Zack lampshaded it I guess), but I still enjoyed it for the most part. Elliot's a jerk, but kind of hopeless at his goals so he's easy to make fun of, and having the counterpart characters with the trio was... interesting. Wonder if this is gonna be more than a one-off gag, I don't usually expect jokes like that to be made so early.
  • Party of Peril: So we see planes stacking stuff at the beginning, and learn Milo's birthday is coming up. Melissa, Zack and Milo's parents then plan a party for Milo and start inviting people. Also turns out Milo has something like 30 of his outfit. Ah, animation outfit jokes. We see a montage of people being invited and eventually land on Amanda Lopez, another student. Okay I'll be honest, I'm thinking she's not being handled well. The way she's introduced reminds me of a lot of stereotypical characters with OCD, and trust me, having OCD myself I'm not letting this off the hook. Like yeah her going on about the dude's borders and shit were basically stock gags, but the part where Melissa basically took advantage of her anxiety to manipulate her into planning for Milo's party was honestly a pretty shitty thing to do. Like, introducing a character in such a stereotypical way and already subjecting them to belittlement isn't cool. I know people are gonna say I'm overreacting or something, but at least understand I've had to put up with crap from a LOT of people because they make me feel bad either for my OCD or my Autistic trait where I get upset when things don't go as they're expected to or planned.
...ANYWAY, Melissa successfully creates a diversion for Milo to deliver a package, and her and Zack call Elliot to make sure he sees Milo. Milo finds a duck and gives it to Elliot and believes it will be safe with him. However, the duck chases Elliot and attacks him. It goes on for a while, but it just keeps on getting funnier with more time. Heck, after a safety check on Milo's bike the duck returns to haunt him. Amanda then arrives and gives stock instructions for her character type, though Brigette mentions that their mattresses might be useful against... duck attacks. Milo arrives to the party, though in the bushes, one dude who put up a sign calls Amanda scary. She's just organising a party, for fucks sake. Anyway, Milo sees the surprise party and is really happy about it, given that he hasn't had a party in years (guess why). We then get a song during go-kart racing, it's alright but nothing special. We then get to the cake scene, except Diogee ate it all. Not to worry however, a bunch of convenient coincidences with the stuff from the beginning exploding into ice-cream and cake, however some ducks attack them. Anyway... good episode, had some pretty funny moments and the birthday thing was nice, though I have mixed feelings about Amanda. Not only is she such a stereotypical "OCD character" that anyone could write, the way the other characters treat her kind of makes me uncomfortable. Elliot was hilarious, though.
  • Smooth Opera-tor: We're at a, well, opera. And... Amanda's here. This is gonna be fun, isn't it? Oh, and Milo seems to have a crush on her. The scene where they talk is pretty cliche, I have to admit. Milo like Amanda, Amanda has thing she really wants to enjoy, Milo has to make sure it goes good for her. Also lawl she schedules her enjoyment hours. Zack at least doesn't appear to be too much of a clod about it though, like he even kind of suggests something to her unironically after his "lolwut" reaction. We get a scene where Milo asks for some pistachios from Cavendish and Dakota, and they act kind of awakwardly. They have a lot of their usual antics, but they also seem to get rather defensive when Milo wonders if they're new at what they do. Pretty funny scene, though a pistachio accident also propels Milo away. Milo ends up on stage, and things of course go as they usually do! Amanda notices it's different from normal, and Melissa tells her to breathe deeply, which pisses off Amanda. Yeah, I'd be pissed off too, Melissa reminds me of many clods who had this attitude in my life. Yeah, that scene was kind of uncomfortable. We get more stage antics from Murphy's Law, one party with a guy tied up by the Pistachio Protectors showing up was funny though. One guy tries to keep singing even though everything's falling apart, but he's continuously stopped. Oh, and Elliot and the duck show up, pretty funny. Amanda is flabbergasted at it all, and Melissa isn't really able to help. Milo however improvises and actually manages to save the show, and hey he does a good job. He actually manages to impress the crowd, Amanda included. They then go off for pizza.
Okay, this is probably the weakest episode so far. Of course, Amanda being played as an OCD stereotype still frustrated me, and the way she was treated by Melissa was hardly flattering. The whole thing with Milo's implied crush on Amanda and how that played out wasn't particularly interesting and in some ways kind of trite, and I'm not exactly a fan of how Amanda, a still relatively new character, was relegated to love interest. Also, I kind of find it hard to buy that Amanda was able to recover from her breakdown just because Milo's improvisation was that good. I've lived these kinds of moments, and I'm afraid no miracle can make you turn a 180. Yeah I know this is a narrative, but the suspension of disbelief was lost on me. I guess at this point I can just hope that the writing for Amanda and how Milo feels about her improves in future episodes and becomes more nuanced. The episode was meh but there were funny parts, namely the Pistachio Protectors' antics and also the cameo from Elliot. Some of the opera singers were annoying, but Weird Al did a great job as espected. So yeah, kind of a mixed bag, and probably kind of a highly subjective one at that.
  • Worked Day: So Milo is stuck on potential careers to choose, and of course he has to pick one. Melissa apparently wants to be a journalist/queen of the universe. Milo also looks through the jobs, and remarks that animator doesn't even sound like a real one. Yep, self-deprecation. We see Martin, who is basically a safety inspector. Pretty clever to have a guy with Murphy's Law check for safety precautions, actually. We also see the Pistachio Protectors, who plan to take a truck of pistachios to a certain factory. Why? Still unknown. :P Naturally, something goes wrong during the job tour, and everyone is sent into a flow of water. The Pistachio Protectors then steal the truck they're after, not that the driver cares much since he gets an afternoon off. We then go off to Melissa's dad, who's a fireman, though Milo thought he worked at a fish hatchery (and Melissa just says the hatchery is probably on fire). Interesting, since Melissa also said yes to Mort's claim he was a paramedic. Does this guy change jobs all the time or something? Or does Melissa actually have two dads and they're being sneaky? Milo decides to try the hose, but it goes as well as you'd expect. The Pistachio Protectors arrive at where they think they're supposed to be, but they're at the wrong place because Cavendish read the map wrong. Oh yeah, and apparently it's a map of Danville. Milo Murphy's Law takes place not just in Jefferson County but outright Danville confirmed? We then meet Zack's mum, or as she prefers to be called, "Dr Zack's Mom." We also meet Kyle Drako as a patient in the hospital, who's about to get a scan. The scan goes wrong however, and everyone has to evacuate. Dakota and Cavendish fail at their plans and are sucked over to the MRI machine like... everything in town. At the end, Milo returns home to visit his mother, complete with a Diogee go home - except Milo realises Diogee is home. Brigette tells Milo that even if he's unsure about what to do, that's perfectly fine, and that going through many jobs is quite normal. Definitely a message a lot of people need to hear. That scene really made the episode, but the rest of it was quite fun as well, especially with the Pistachio Protectors.
  • The Wilder West: Milo's family and friends are on a trip! Somehow the Murphy parents fail to notice Sara, weird. Sara notices that she's on a possible Dr Zone shooting location, and Milo, Zack and Melissa go horse riding. During the riding, they're chased down by a girl called Jackie. When she reveals herself, Zack quickly gets a crush on her. Jackie says she's the granddaughter of "Calamity Jane"... so she's another Milo type. Jackie then takes them on a tour, which Zack rather enthusiastically goes on. Sara is taking photos of a possible Dr Zone site, which catches the attention of Wally and Kris, who seek to verify the location. Apparently Jackie was kicked out of... home school, and Melissa begins to get cautious, especially after a fall they have. Sara and the other Dr Zone fans meticulously photograph the site they're at, while Milo and co are still running into trouble. Zack gets over Jackie as soon as he sees that she's unfazed from nearly dying, and realises he wasn't thinking clearly. They go home, and somehow they forget Sara (again). It turns out there's a horse named Dr Zone, which causes the other fans to assume Sara was just jumping to conclusions. However, the horse is named that because they did film that Dr Zone episode there after all. So yeah. Not necessarily my favourite episode, but it was good enough. The Sara subplot was probably the most enjoyable part, though the Milo stuff was fine as well.
  • Family Vacation: So the Murphys are about to go on vacation, and we already see their idea of vacation isn't exactly normal. They're naturally prepared for anything so they have a tonne of spare tires, and as Melissa and Zack are staying behind to look after Diogee, Milo mentions that they don't have a destination in mind since things never go to plan. It turns out Murphy vacations from past families have also resulted in natural disasters so... yeah, might be a good idea. We then get a song from the family that sums up the unconventional vacation style. It's nice, and has some fun lines. When they get to a stop, Milo accidentally gets on the wrong trailer so he ends up with a different family (the Brulees), who are naturally much more cautious and reserved about things. Oh, they also have twins, Charlene and Sharon, and they start to enjoy being around Milo despite their dad constantly worrying and insisting they go to the Grand Canyon. They also have jars for certain comments, lol. Things soon go awry of course since they don't meet at where Milo planned to meet his family, so they keep on coming up with new places to meet. Milo tells the twins about other vacations he's been on, and they're impressed (to be honest they kinda seem into him lol). As Mr Brulee continues to worry about things not going to plan, they knock stuff over, including a Pistachio stall with Cavendish and Dakota. The Brulees and Milo end up landing on a river with a dinosaur made of ham (with bacon hands) stuck to them, and the Murphys aren't far behind, landing in with them. However, Diogee decides to follow the Murphys all the way to the river. The Brulee twins actually are enjoying the danger even though their dad is panicking over what's happening. He even says they're about to die, to which Milo says "only eventually." Geez, this show likes its dark humour, huh? But yeah Diogee shows up and saves them, and Milo even calls him the best dog in the world when Mr Brulee is still in disbelief. :) And yeah something something going with the flow is what can make vacations good, and Milo gets money sent into a sappy sentiment jar. So yeah, decent episode. Probably one of the less remarkable ones, but it was good enough and did what it needed to do. Just please, don't use so much CGI in the future. Hamosaur, the vans, even signs... it looked pretty ugly. IDK what inspired these choices but... yeah.
  • Murphy's Lard: We go back to Lard World (which was teased last episode), which gets a song and montage. I don't know about you, but an amusement park focused on and utilising pig fat is pretty revolting if you ask me. :V Anyway, Milo, Zack and Melissa are on one of the rides, and Milo's excited to try out the lard themed rollercoaster... except Melissa seems to be dreading it. After some goofy antics between the trio, Melissa admits she's scared and doesn't want the others to think less of her, but they say she can tell them what's bothering her - she then admits she's scared of rollercoasters. Zack thinks that's a normal fear, while Milo is surprised especially since she supposedly walked on a tightrope over llamas (lemme guess, foreshadowing). Why is she scared of them? On the first day of Summer, a part of Phineas and Ferb's rollercoaster landed in her backyard and crushed a science project she was really invested in (apparently it "crushed her dreams"). Milo then asks why she was assembling a science project in Summer, which Zack cuts off to focus on the now. Not gonna lie, I would've assumed it was just something she did if it weren't for Milo actually calling attention to what she was doing and that Melissa said her dreams were crushed, like it was important. Time to keep and eye on this... As Zack reassures her that it's unlikely to happen again using the metaphor "lightning never strikes twice," Melissa mentions Milo has been struck twice, and on his birthday. Poor Zack looks so sad when he hears about this. :( Zack also mentions he's afraid of things too, and recounts a story when a fish freaked him out, and Milo brings up a fear of Chinese finger traps... and one lands on his finger, and what happens is what you'd expect. Meanwhile the Pistachio Protectors arrive at a stand at the theme park and inspect it, which confuses the guy running it. As the kids go to the rollercoaster, a woodpecker causes a boulder to become loose and threaten the stand. As Melissa finally musters some courage, she actually sees the rollercoaster and tries to run away, only for Zack and Milo to bring her back. They get on, but as Milo's safety railing comes off, they all realise something: this is a rollercoaster with Milo. Zack then hops off, and the ride goes as well as you'd expect - chaos, even causing stuff to fly across the park, including a flaming pig near the pistachio stand, which was something Dakota suggested could've happened to the stand. Milo and Melissa actually end up being sent back to the top of the ride while they stay connected via Chinese finger trap. They do make it back safely though, and remove the trap, so Milo's now over his fear. Meanwhile the head of Lardy Boy, the mascot of the park, is sent into space (with a badly drawn map... unless it's actually supposed to look off, given South America doesn't even seem to be there?), but an alien ship causes it to fly back to Earth and cause the flaming pig to destroy the pistachio stand now that they took down the guard for it. Meanwhile the kids plan to go back home, only for a fish to end up flying to Zack, scaring him. So yeah, another good episode. Did enjoy it more than the previous one, though I do think people are mostly going to remember this episode for how they integrated Phineas and Ferb into the plot. Still, had some funny moments and it was nice seeing a more insecure and vulnerable side of Melissa, who tends to usually act really sassy and tough.
  • Secrets and Pies: Milo tells Zack and Melissa about his "secret" (while not getting how they work :V) - he took cooking classes, until the ovens blew up, but he's using what he learned to make dinner for them all. Despite Melissa and Zack's fears, Milo manages to prepare some Mac and Cheese for them. Things are fine until... the yeast (yes, his "secret ingredient") causes it to blow up. This causes Zack and Melissa to change into Milo's outfit for the episode, and Zack says it makes him happy... because there's a dollar in his pocket. Yeah. Melissa remarks that they look like a boy band, which causes Zack to get all defensive, which confuses the others. They then decide to order some pizza at some old medieval style place, and then we see Veronica, who knows Milo. This surprises Melissa and Milo who thought they knew all of his friends (and Zack thought they were his only ones... damn), and after they order, Veronica also recognises Zack and says something that scares him... "chop chop chop chop away at-". While recognising Zack is acting weird again, him and Melissa ask Milo about Veronica. All he says is that they're more likely to get the pizza, and that his backpack isn't his. We then cut to Veronica and get a song (whose guitar reminds me of American Idiot and as a result Johnny Test :V), and also Dan Povenmire voicing a teenager commenting on the "good 3D" of her going through a poster for a 3D movie. Melissa still pesters Milo about her, but him and Zack get her to reveal her own secret so it's fair - that she's a robot. Well, not really, but Zack imagines that scenario... twice, sending Zack and Milo running in the imagine spot. Actually it's just that her two front teeth are fake... which sends Milo running anyway. Meanwhile Veronica bumps into Diogee after some Murphy's Law chaos (including a truck driver singing Chop Away at my Heart... still building up Zack of course), and he joins her on the delivery. As they're driving, they go past the Pistachio Protectors, who fail at yet another assignment. They make it to Milo's house, though. Milo then explains that Veronica was his last babysitter (standing), and that it's her backpack he wears which she used to help prepare for Murphy's Law. Because she used a soda to help get to Milo's house, Veronica decides to get another. Zack volunteers to pay for it, but Veronica lets him off the hook, saying she was a huge fan of the Lumberzacks. This finally brings us to Zack's secret - the Lumberzacks were a boy band he was a part of, with the hit single Chop Away at My Heart. The song parodies a lot of boy band tropes, but it's also actually pretty good. Melissa is amused, but Milo actually seems kinda into him - he even says to Zack he can keep his dollar when he offers it to them to turn the song off... in a kind of flirty tone. Hashtag Zilo confirmed? Apparently the idea was actually his mother's who had some flannel, and yeah. Milo and Melissa think it's really cool though, and they get the idea to start their own band (Milo even gets his accordion), because of course we need to get in songs for the show somehow. Then Diogee decides to be a dick and sit on their pizza after only taking a single slice each, yay. So yeah, pretty fun episode. Was fairly light, but we got to learn more about the characters here, which was pretty cool. It was also good how despite their curiosity about each other and poking around, they were all ultimately supportive of each other, particularly with Zack being in the Lumberzacks. And yeah, Chop Away at my Heart is pretty darn catchy (and was actually played in The Note in the astronaut flashback, and also Jackie calls Zack "boy band" in Wilder West, which he probably didn't react to because of his infatuation with her).
  • Athledecamathalon: Don't even try saying that. So it turns out the sporting and academic competitions were combined into one thing. The main trio, Mort and a guy named Chad go to Mr Drako about it, even though Chad insists Drako is a vampire. They list of fishy things despite Melissa not being impressed, but one of Melissa's comments gets Chad scared and running away. So after some weird stuff about hanging sheets over his ex-wife, he explained that the school wasted money buying some fancy yacht, so the lack of money meant they had to combine the two events, which of course gets everyone nervous because nobody expects to excel at both. Meanwhile the Murphy parents are delivering Milo's lunch and body armour, and Martin mentions that he won a trophy in school for soccer. We even get a song flashback for it, where Murphy's Law screwed everyone over but Martin somehow made it through. Drako takes them out, only to see the opposing team is super prepared. Drako apparently knew for three months too and didn't say anything because he thought it would stress them out. :P We then get a song montage of the... I'm not bothering, which of course results in a lot of mayhem, including the school getting -1 points because a spear damaged Drako's car. Meanwhile the parents are looking for Martin's trophy, and when they see some, Martin opens the class and... yeah. Meanwhile Milo is skipping while naming disasters (three of which were disasters from Murphy family vacations, plus the Cretaceous-Palaeogene asteroid... now I wonder if Murphy's Law is somehow to blame for that :V)... and Drako's hair. Milo then throws a disc for the next part of the challenge, however it causes to mess up the entire playing field as a result. Melissa asks for five dollars from everyone if they choose to give up (and when Zack asks why she basically gets him to shut up), but Milo realises that Murphy's Law has actually evened the odds for them since now the other team is just as unprepared. They then get to the final event, where Drako has fancy tablets for the mental portion of the challenge, to which he says there's a story about how he could afford the tech but not two events. :V Of course lots of stuff that happens, including Mort (correctly) referencing Gandalf's death scene. Meanwhile Martin decides to show off his skills to Brigette, and of course disaster happens. Milo makes it to the end however, and he has to answer a final question about James Garfield's blood type... which whenever he had the chance to hear it something cut him off. Melissa helps remind him she said it though, and he wins, while his parents watch from afar. So yeah, fun episode. Not much to really discuss, but I enjoy Mr Drako a lot, and of course they utilise Murphy's Law well.
  • The Substitute: Oh my gosh, the message on the school about Mrs Murawski's desk missing her, wow... Oh, also Diogee skateboarding past the school. Zack gets concerned because they're having a substitute teacher, Ms Baxter. As she's going through the lesson, Milo think he should help her (though Melissa states his last "maybe if I" involved the national guard, to which Milo said he got to hold a grenade launcher XD), and since they don't have good home video equipment Milo asks if she has anything for a zoetrope. We get to see some, and Melissa has one with... Klimpaloon. When Ms Baxter realises she has to teach, she chooses Milo to be her assistant, which gets Amanda and Bradley worried. Oh, and the Pistachio Protectors teleport into a closet. They have a special pistachio fertiliser they plan to use on a plant, but their time travel device shuts down. Dakota points out that they're probably able to get electricity in this time, so they find a way to sneak out and charge it. They do this by sneaking out with a periodic table board (which has Pizzazium Infinionite if you look closely), also interrupting the class. After that, Milo creates a solution to show how matter works for Ms Baxter, and of course things screw up when the flask is sent across the room and it catches fire (which shouldn't have even happened) on a broken desk. Amidst the chaos, Cavendish sneaks out and gets the time travel device, except it's actually a student's phone (her name's Lydia and apparently she knows Melissa). Melissa notices the actual device and decides to check it out, which brings Ms Baxter over, assuming she's texting in class. She tinkers around with it and is sent into... space. This causes a random David Bowie style song with her floating through space and its colourful, trippy looking glory, before returning back to class, stupefied. She takes a nap and then hands the class to Milo. Milo and Zack then create another chemical, but there's a spill, which gets everyone panicking. Milo go gets a chemical absorbent to clean the spill, but he accidentally gets the pistachio fertiliser (while he awkwardly notices the Pistachio Protectors), which somehow turns the spill into some giant blob thing. It causes chaos across the classroom, and when Dakota realises what's going on, him and Cavendish are dragged out too. Milo realises that they can freeze it however (even as a part of it is sent outside), and after a corny Mr Freeze pun, the students start getting to work. Cavendish and Dakota meanwhile go outside to make sure the pistachio plant isn't in danger, and after sending Diogee away during an attempt at urinating, Cavendish steps on the plant. Yep, another failure. Meanwhile Ms Baxter actually isn't stressed out but thought class was awesome, with them actually learning stuff through rather unconventional means. Oh yeah, and we get "solid, liquid and gas" in the style of the song. However, things aren't over. The blob that escaped finds the pistachio tree, and is absorbed by it, creating some weird kind of mutant pistachio tree. Well, that's... an ending. So yeah, this was quite an enjoyable episode. A lot of fun gags, and also a cool if short song. Of course, what people will probably remember most though is the ending, obviously setting up something big that will happen. Now we need to see what on Earth that is.
  • Time Out: Milo and Zack are with their dads going fishing, and Zack's dad while despite having heard stories from Zack about things that have happened, doesn't believe Murphy's Law is a thing. Milo then goes to get some pistachios, and him and Dakota recognise each other. After they introduce themselves and Milo leaves, a swordfish ruins the cart. Dakota brings up what happened to Cavendish, and then Dakota recognises that there's a connection between Milo and the pistachio accidents, even if Cavendish doesn't listen. Cavendish instead reads out their new assignment... protecting more pistachios. He laments about how studied time travel for these missions to save the world, and Dakota mentions he did it to prevent the "Mississippi Purchase." They try to call the future (which simply requires a 4, lol) but the intertemporal communicator is dead so they have to go and find someone who has one. Meanwhile the families are fishing, and of course Zack recognises what's going on pretty quickly, even with the freshwater swordfish. Meanwhile the Pistachio Protectors meet fellow time travelers Brick and Savannah, who are embarrassed to see them. They even talk about how they get fancy formal clothes while Cavendish and Dakota are dressed in goofy 70s costumes (and Cavendish is of course in fact the 1870s). Brick and Savannah are soon called to action though because they find out some random enemy henchmen with something, so they completely ignore their calls for help. Once they're defeated, they go and retrieve some chemical that I don't know is important right now or not. Cavendish and Dakota are envious of them getting good gadgets, while Brick shows how seriously he takes his role in preserving the future and saving the world. Meanwhile after Savannah remarks how she stopped world wars 3 and 4 since they're now focusing on world war 5, Dakota tries to hit on her. It goes about as well as you'd expect. They then all get into a time limousine, which just makes Cavendish even more jealous of the bad time vehicle they own. Wonder if using cars was intended as a Back to the Future reference (when I asked Joshua Pruett on twitter he couldn't say anything), also oh yeah who else have we seen use a car to time travel? Doctor Zone and Time Ape. Meanwhile after some more shenanigans, Zack's dad finally believes Murphy's Law is real. They decide to move to a different spot, but the motor leaves the boat, and their subsequent sail fails. Meanwhile in the middle of time travel (in a stream that looks like the one in Phineas and Ferb, with clocks everywhere), Cavendish still gets jealous, even wondering when he will get an attractive partner, which offends Dakota. Pistachio Protectors OTP. Meanwhile Brick and Savannah get tired of the complaining and remind them they're the lowest ranking agents, and that they only are saving the pistachios because their boss liked them as a kid. Apparently they're also from 2085, since that's when Brick says they have to keep them around until. During the arguing however, Cavendish accidentally knocks the chemical they have into the sewers instead of delivering it to the doctor they intended it for, which somehow results in a giant rat destroying shit in the present. We then cut back to when the limo comes (in which I noticed Dakota suddenly cuts from being on the floor to standing, ERROR!), except it's actually the current limo and Brick and Savannah come in to stop them from messing things up. The Pistachio Protectors then get a transmission from their boss, Mr Block, who rejects their calls for a different assignment and berates them about how there's no pistachios. As they return to the fishing place, some Murphy's law shenanigans causes a dam to break and send the families back to shore, and Dakota sees Milo again. Cavendish is sceptical until the pistachio shipment they were assigned to gets destroyed, which makes Cavendish wonder if Milo's a counter agent trying to stop them. So yeah, another really fun episode, where we started to learn more about what this whole pistachio and time travel business is about. Brick and Savannah seem cool so far, and they're definitely beginning to kick things into gear with Milo being perceived as a threat.
  • We're Going to the Zoo: Milo, Zack and Sara are sorting t-shirts for a clothing drive (while Melissa is "studying"). Sara finds platypus pyjamas, which prompts a flashback of who I assumed was Perry (if not then it's typical shit lol) crashing around Milo's house, though Sara actually wanted to to know why they were teal and not brown, to which Milo says it's someone's idea of "artsy." Yep, Dan and Swampy just roasted themselves. After Milo puts the clothes away, Diogee causes some old shirts from Brigette to fall in among the clothes. Sara freaks out and explains the issue, and Milo wonders why. Zack doesn't believe what Brigette literally said to Sara and what she repeated was real, prompting her to say that they're guys and don't talk about feelings (well not about clothes, according to Milo). I can't believe it, they referenced ACT YOUR AGE. Instead of being funny the reference feels contrived (like the original lol), and actually pretty mean on Sara's part, especially with her tone. Milo's comment afterwards that I mentioned is meh, it just adds salt into the wound TBH. The trio then visit Drako to see where the shirts have gone, and it seems they're sent away. Meanwhile the Pistachio Protectors are up to their usual business, and Dakota enters in the password to receive a transmission: drowssap backwards. Yes, really. Mr Block sends them coordinates while obviously not being enthusiastic (though he seems less so at Cavendish than Dakota), and Dakota is excited because they get to go to the zoo and see actual animals. Well, that was morbid news. Back to Milo, after their bike tyres are bursted, the trio get on a bus. When the trailer with the t-shirts is sent the other way they were going, they get off, except they're held up by some old lady and her mobility scooter. I'm... not sure how to feel about this. Anyway they continue to chase after the clothes, they get on the trailer but it ends up being sent into the zoo. Monkeys then steal the shirts, and of course carnage ensues (complete with Bradley teasing giraffes and screaming when the monkeys come). We even get Dakota's zoo song during the chase! Oh, and Milo mentions the Llama Incident again as he gets knockout gas from it to stun animals. Meanwhile Dakota still wants to see animals, while Cavendish is looking for Milo. Dakota admits he wasn't that serious about suggesting Milo is the enemy, but Cavendish insists he is. When Dakota says others could thwart their efforts instead, he mentions... a potted plant. Oh look, Planty reference. Eventually the stampede arrives, with the trio not far behind (and for some reason Diogee is with otters). They eventually get the shirts back with banana cologne, and the giraffes eat the pistachios that were being protected. When Milo returns home, it turns out Brigette was going to give away the shirts anywhere, leaving everything they did pointless. Meanwhile, since Cavendish spotted Milo, he gets Dakota to dance to the zoo song with pistachios in his pants, which causes squirrels to come into his pants, creating a friggin Squirrels in my Pants reference. I know this is probably an unpopular opinion, but this episode is actually my least favourite of the Mega March event. I just felt like a lot of the humour missed more than it hit, especially the Act Your Age reference and the scooter joke, because lol look at how much of a hassle elderly disabled people are, making people take forever just so they can get off! I'm sure this is gonna get "SJW" hate mail or whatever, but I honestly just didn't find these jokes funny. I also couldn't help but feel like they went a little overkill with the Phineas and Ferb references, if it was just one or maybe two I would've been fine but four pretty obvious ones in one episode was a bit too distracting for my liking. The Perry one was funny though, especially with the self-deprecation. Even if the Milo plot was eh in my eyes the Pistachio one wasn't bad though, particularly as we're seeing Cavendish grow obsessed with Milo. And yes, the Zoo song is pretty damn catchy, the part during the stampede was good in particular. So yeah, even if many will likely disagree I couldn't help but find this episode to be a mixed bag.
  • School Dance: Cavendish and Dakota are in an apartment, and lock themselves in to avoid an angry landlord. They contact the Bureau of Time Travel, and Mr Block gives them another assignment while continuing to be an ass. None of your Business 2: The Shut Uppening sounds like a nice movie though. :V Also from what it seems they're pretty casual about using time travel, with Block going back 6 months to see a movie and his assistant, Gretchen (who funnily enough does look a bit like the Phineas and Ferb one), going back to yesterday to do something she forgot. Cavendish asks Block about Milo, to which Block says there's no other agency (which Cavendish seems to forget a lot), and that unless they give evidence they should just focus on their mission. Cavendish parts by pretending to rewind back in time and mock them with the deliberately incorrect names he gave them, Cooperdink and Hampshire. Meanwhile, Milo, Zack and Melissa arrive at a school party that Amanda organised. Yep, we know where this is going. As soon as Milo shows up, everything she organised starts falling apart. In a punch spill however, Milo gives Amanda some punch sealant, which is apparently a thing. Also, the Pistachio Protectors show up to the party with stakes for their mission... totally doesn't look weird. Anyway the kids are all dancing, only for the music to stop working. While Cavendish decides they should ask someone about Milo, Chad shows up and asks whether they're teachers or parents. After some confusion, they make up that they're parents of a student with the surname Teacher. Wow, a joke that actually normalises same gender parents? Nice. Chad however notices their stakes, and freaks out. While Amanda notices more trouble around Milo, Chad hops over to Zack and Melissa to inform them about "vampire hunters." After some banter, Drako shows up, and Chad assumes the Pistachio Protectors are there to kill Drako. Zack and Melissa actually end up on board despite their scepticism over Drako being a vampire, and plan to protect him. Meanwhile the power goes out, and Amanda breaks down, though Milo goes off to fix things. We then get a song from Amanda, which actually has a melancholy feel to it, which makes sense I guess. After the song, Cavendish sees Milo, and him and Dakota follow him (though he accidentally sends the band members through time, whoops). Milo turns the power back on, and Amanda is impressed at the repaired party. She wants to thank whoever did it, and Mort sees a slipper stuck in glue (from earlier when Milo was repairing), and of course we get a Cinderella situation. Meanwhile Zack, Melissa and Chad meet the Pistachio Protectors, and the wording Chad uses to describe Drako makes Cavendish think he means Milo. When they pass the kids, they see Drako and of course don't do anything, and Drako just comments on their outfits. After that Milo notices the band disappeared, so him, Zack, Melissa and Mort fill in. Amanda finds out it was Milo thanks to Lydia, and she thanks him, even asking to dance. Milo of course is busy, but he says maybe later. Meanwhile Cavendish and Dakota return home, and Mr Block berates them for going after Milo instead of doing their mission. Oh, also those band members from before end up in Mr Block's office. Whoops. This was actually a pretty good episode, it wouldn't surprise some that I was worried going in given how they've handled Amanda in the past but for the most part everything was fine here. The ending with the Cinderella slipper and the asking to dance (also calling Milo "my hero," though I guess that kinda works for her since she's pretty overdramatic in how she shows emotions) was kinda cheesy and cliche, but it was kind of sweet and felt more natural this time around. Also, character development for Amanda, who I imagine has many complicated feelings about Milo at this point after realising he can help as much as his presence causes problems. The vampire hunter subplot was my favourite part though, it was pretty funny, and also of course more time agency stuff. So yeah, fun episode!
  • Battle of the Bands: So Milo, Melissa, Zack and Mort show up to a band competition, run by a character voiced by Olivia Olson (IIRC her name was Shelly, but don't quote me on that). Since the manager is busy, she ends up assuming that they're called Just Getting Started, taking Zack out of context. Melissa and Mort are anxious, but as Zack has performed before he's more confident and helps them relaxed. Milo on the other hand is prepared for pretty much anything to happen, as usual. When Zack goes to get snacks, he ends up running into none other than the Lumberzacks, now the Lumbermaxes (and they all changed their name to Max). Zack talks with them, but the original Max starts to deliberately ignore and misinterpret what he's saying, which ends up working up Zack and getting rid of the calm attitude of before. Zack tells the others, and since Mort doesn't know about the Lumberzacks, Zack tells them their backstory (which takes place in 2016, insert joke here). Turns out they're from the Quad-State area, and the pressure from being in a regionally popular boy band caused them to start partying... in a kid friendly way. Then a girl came between them... well, she just stood between the band members and Zack thought it was fine for her to stand in line. :V Then Zack left, assuming they didn't take it well, though they seemed more indifferent, lol. Zack then tells them they have to step up their game so they can beat the Lumbermaxes, hoping he can get them to think they're lost without him... yep, pretty egotistical there, pal. And when they start practicing, Zack constantly interrupts them because he's now being perfectionist, even blowing up at Melissa at one point just because some puppies came over. Meanwhile the manager introduces the judges, which includes... Slash. Okay. We then see Scott and the Undergrounders (which has even MORE Dan and Swampy lookalikes), who are ridiculously short. We then get the Lumbermaxes, who literally sing Chop Away at my Heart but replace chop with "saw." Zack continues to be anxious and even decides he should start playing all the instruments, however a reflection with him and the others prompts him to apologise for being so hard on everyone, realising he forgot of what they originally intended to do. The others forgive him, and they go up on stage to play. They play their song, which is fine, though we also get the place flooding (and an oddly happy Amanda with Lydia among it). Also random cannonball from Mort at the end that's actually tiny, okay then. The Lumbermaxes return one last time to frustrate Zack, only for Slash to tell him to just leave. So yeah, this was a good episode. Pretty light fare, but I did enjoy the story with Zack here, and how he acts under pressure like this. I also liked how it did the "band member's ego gets to them" story in a different way, because instead of just having Zack be vain he actually was acting this way more out of insecurity and getting caught up in how his old band mates treated him.
  • The Math Book: So Milo, Zack and Melissa go back to school in the evening, because Melissa forgot her maths book. When they go inside, Principal Milder greets them in an oddly creepy way, since the lights are off. They tell her about Melissa's book, and Milder is disappointed. When the lights are brought up, she also says they're saving power after they bought that yacht. They go and get the book, but they leave the key they're given to the classroom inside, which locked itself. Now they have to find some key keeper, who will unlock the room again for them. Zack asks about why everyone is talking so weird, which gets Melissa more defensive after her worrying. She also notices some heart with Zack and another girl's name on it. They then find a map, and go into a room to look for the key keeper. After running into Drako in a closet, they find a note, which sends them back into the hallway, which is slippery after being cleaned. They accelerate into a Jefferson G County statue (apparently he founded the county lol), and almost break the entire thing after crashing a bit off. Zack still is cynical about the goofy quest stuff Milo and Melissa are into, and Melissa of course continues to be annoyed at Zack about it. Milo mentions it's probably just Murphy's Law though, however Melissa moves close to Zack saying this is why it's "questy," which then gets Zack to gently push her back and say to stop making words. Melissa just giggles. Yeah I know this is a tiny scene, but it's really cute and tempts me to ship Zack and Melissa. :V After some weirdly creepy hall monitors walk over, the trio end up stick in another room, and have to go through it. After some spiders, Milo uses a student ID card to get through a door, taking them to the library. Really. We then break through another passage, and Milo talks about some story we never hear because of his generator to power a light, besides something about Milo's cousin Reggie painting a Mona Lisa replica for school. They end up in a science classroom, and accidentally let ferrets out but also find a ball from a sport game. They then trace a clue from their coach to the roof, which is above the maths classroom, and then Melissa gets her stuff... though they soon face the drama club and the ferrets for a bit. The sprinklers send everyone outside, and then they meet the key keeper. This was an alright episode, it was fine. Was a bit slow for my liking, but I don't have any real issues with it. I think it was kind of meant to show us more of the school, which of course could be important later if something happens there, like say a mutant pistachio tree causes problems (I actually expected something about that to show up here, but I guess not for now). :B Oh yeah, and I think I'll mainly remember this episode for the Zack/Melissa moment, lol.
  • The Little Engine that Couldn't: Melissa's dad returns! And he has not only his daughter, but Milo around too. Mr Chase has to take this old antique firetruck to a Firetruck Museum, and Melissa wonders who would even be interested especially since the natural history museum is next door, but of course, Milo gets excited. He explains everything about it, even... a radio, despite radios not being a thing yet. The kids decide to go with Mr Chase since Milo seems so interested, though he's hesitant about Milo being around. Meanwhile, the Pistachio Protectors have another assignment, and also receive a new vehicle... a two seater bicycle. Anyway, the truck reaches a hill, and Murphy's Law begins to do its thing (complete with the first thing causing Elliot to scream in the background). As they speed up, all sorts of stuff happens, though Milo also calls for help and we get some old fashioned dude playing oddly fitting piano. Oh, and Cavendish is angry again because the firetruck destroys their pistachios. When they finally stop and Melissa makes a callback to her lungs collapsing (earlier Mr Chase says they used to think going over a certain speed would collapse your lungs despite that being unthinkable now), Mr Chase gets pissed off about Milo. Melissa tries to say that Milo can't help it and it's just Murphy's Law, and that he also saved them, but Mr Chase continues to pin everything on Milo and say that if he weren't here they wouldn't need saving. Milo isn't really offended it seems, though Melissa still says to be nice. Dakota and Cavendish catch up but the firetruck starts moving again, now taking some rail-car with them (and some dad and his daughter who he wants to eat her vegetables lol). They catch up and pick up Milo, and Cavendish interrogates him. He asks if he's working for another organisation like the Black Raddish Underground or The Marmoset League, but more stuff happens. Dakota remains unconvinced that Milo's an enemy, and when he saves some cats Dakota catches one that looks (and acts) like Cavendish. The rail-car breaks away, and the dad is still unfazed and insistent on vegetables. Before the Pistachio Protectors break away on the broken off top of the rail-car, Milo saves them, and Cavendish is still conviced Milo's a villain. Dakota reacts kind of like Melissa did to Mr Chase, actually, and Catvendish (I guess we call him that) imitates Cavendish. :P Anyway, the firetruck goes through the Museum and runs into the T. rex from It's About Time in Phineas and Ferb (and is briefly unfrozen somehow?), and it conveniently makes a cool display that gets people interested in the Firetruck Museum. Mr Chase them explains his newfound respect for Milo, and how he relates due to being a fireman. So yeah, this was a good episode. There were a few random errors and things to nitpick like that T. rex (the moving part, not just it being horrendously inaccurate XD), and Mr Chase sounded a bit phoned in a times, but it had some nice stuff. They also seemed to make the most explicit allusions to Murphy's Law being a disability so far, I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the "be nice" line from Melissa given she's speaking for Milo instead of him doing so (though it certainly was in-character, as Milo isn't the type to speak up, and I mean these ARE characters, not puppets for some moral) but it was interesting and it didn't fault Milo for anything. The Pistachio subplot was fun too of course, and more buildup between the Protectors and Milo seems to be happening. Who wants to bet those organisations Cavendish mentioned will return?

I'm really loving this show so far. Not only are the jokes and comedy on par with Phineas so far, I love all the characters, ESPECIALLY Melissa :P not to mention the PnF easter eggs they throw in, like Melissa saying "Great Googily Moogily," and Milo mentioning Football X-7 XD

Also Bradley totally has a thing for Melissa which is the most hilarious reversal of PnF XD
